Our Client located in the Tysons area is looking for a high-level Administrative
Assistant who possesses experience supporting key executives. Will require high level of
experience with Lotus Notes and travel scheduling, accommodating logistical changes and a
keen eye for detail. This is a temporary-to-permanent position.
Responsibilities:
Performs a wide range of administrative and general support duties of a highly responsible
and confidential nature. Facilitate the efficient administrative processes for the major
business function. Screens and prioritizes customer requests and problem situations.
Daily contact with managers, peers and subordinates as well as outside customers.
Performs research, gathers data, produces administrative reports, independently compose
memos and assists with department budget preparations. May manage special projects
independently or participate on project teams in support of business unit initiatives.
Working hours: 8:00AM-5:00PM, 40 hours a week.
Requirements:
Secretarial Science Degree, Associate Degree or College Degree preferred or equivalent
administrative knowledge of advanced administrative experience. Must have advanced
knowledge of office and administrative procedures and expert PC and communication skills.
Heavy scheduling of meeting and conference calls on Lotus Notes. Heavy travel
coordination. Requires a high level of tact and integrity due to the great frequency of
senior level internal and external contacts and regular exposure to confidential data.
Preferred analytical skills, knowledge of budgeting and variance reporting processes.
Advanced skills in Excel and Word. Ability to compose and edit letters, memos and text.
Some travel in the area to meetings and events required. Preferred candidate will have 3
to 5 years of recent senior level administrative experience. Some occasional early
morning or evening hours required in support of meetings and events.
