Financial Analyst/Accounting(CPA perferred) candidate needed for large banking/financial
client in East Tampa: . Must have strong MS Excel and MS Access skills with ability to
develop databases to improve processes. Financial Reporting, Public Accounting and
Statutory Reporting experience preferred.
Details and Skills needed:
1. Excellent analytical and research skills
a. Reconciliations
b. Clearing suspense items
c. Submitting corrections to GL Support for mapping issues
d. Uses complex spreadsheets and Access databases-extensive use of queries and databases
2. Advanced Microsoft Office skills
a. Excel
b. Access
c. Vista(preferred)
3. Essbase(Hyperion) experience preferred
4. Peoplesoft experience
a. Submitting and posting journals
b. Using the query tool
5. Cognos Query/Data Mart knowledge and experience
6. Excellent Communication skills, very organizied, self motivated, problem solver,
deadline driven. Many of this persons functions are extremely time sensitive.
Working hours: 8-5 plus overtime
Bachelor's Degree in Accounting and/or Finance is required.
5-7 years experience in a Financial Analyst/Accountant position is preferred.
