Unique Research opportunity with Major Pharmaceutical Company
2 year Oncology Target Validation Contract Position
Major pharmaceutical company is seeking a highly motivated and experienced
contract Scientist to help drive their Oncology target validation activities.
The successful candidate should possess a graduate degree (Ph.D. preferred)
in Cell, Molecular Biology or related field, and 2+ years of research experience in
academic or industrial settings. Required expertise includes:
- Mastery of tissue culture techniques, transfection and viral transduction
- Experience in cell-based assays and FACS
- Proficiency in molecular techniques, such as
quantitative PCR and Western blotting
- Impeccable organization, data management
and interpretation, and good communication skills
- Experience with High Content Imaging, co-culture systems and/or soft agar colony
formation would be a plus
Working hours: 9:00am-5:00pm (approximate)
