POSITION SUMMARY
The position reports to the Head of Healtheconomics and Outcomes Research and will provide
analysis or oversight to the execution of analysis that develop evidence on the value
proposition of Millennium products in development and on the market.
RESPONSIBILITIES
-Design and conduct health economic studies to support product brand strategies and global
health technology assessment requirements. Examples include, but are not limited to
design and execution of quality of life studies, health economic models, as well as
retrospective and prospective studies aimed at defining burden of disease and disease
risk factors.
-Provide epidemiology and observational study design expertise to the discovery,
development, and commercialization of biopharmaceutical products across the therapeutic
areas represented at Millennium.
-Generate, evaluate, and refine analytical plans for the development of product value
proposition, as programs evolve and new evidence is generated.
-Collaborate closely with pricing and re-imbursements, safety experts, regulatory
professionals, and others within and outside the company to identify key issues related
to product support, and formulate plans for proactively addressing these issues.
-Interact within teams to work on projects of diverse scope and complexity. Expected to
exercise independent judgment within generally defined practices, guidance and policies.
-Advise the therapeutic area teams on publication planning strategies, and ensure that
scientific data resulting from the execution of Healtheconomics and Outcomes Research
Studies are appropriately positioned in the public domain.
Working hours: 8:30AM-5PM
QUALIFICATIONS
-Advance degree in a healthcare or economics related discipline (MPH, PhD, MSc). Relevant
disciplines include Medicine, Pharmacy, Health Services Research, Economics, Nursing,
Epidemiology, and Biostatistics.
-0-2 years of industry experience.
-Knowledge and hands-on experience required with clinical trial design and conduct, and
with methods of analysis of large healthcare databases.
-Expert research and analysis skills and a track record of publications would be an
advantage.
-Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational/administrative skills.
-Proficiency in project management and in forecasting and negotiating project budgets.
-Knowledge of relevant Health Technology guidance, NICE, AMCP, PBAC etc.
-Highly motivated and work well with minimal supervision. Supervision of external vendors
will be required.
